Eventuri Volkswagen Golf R/GTI Carbon Fibre Intake System (Mk8)

Eventuri Volkswagen Golf R/GTI Carbon Fibre Intake System was developed by Eventuri to provide the most efficient and direct airflow path to the turbo.

The VW Golf R and GTI Mk8 Intake System by Eventuri is a complete redesign of the factory intake all the way to the turbo inlet. Eventuri have maximised the available space to ensure this intake system will cater to all power levels. Taking design cues from Eventuri's Audi RS3 8Y Intake System, the Golf R system was engineered to offer the highest possible flow rate and the lowest possible intake temperatures.

Eventuri has replaced the restrictive OEM 73mm diameter inlet tube with a much larger 94mm diameter intake tube. The filter itself has an outer diameter of 192mm or 7.5″ with a filtration surface area of over 110,000mm^2.

As with all Eventuri intakes, the Mk8 Golf R system features Eventuri's patented Venturi housing to provide the maximum internal volume possible and laminar flow to the turbo tube. If all that wasn't enough, the duct seals the filter opening to the front slam panel but is not restricted by just the stock entry feed. The team at Eventuri have lifted the front of the duct to now provide an extra opening behind the hood which is equivalent to an extra 7″ diameter hole for the intake to draw from.

This is an ESSENTIAL modification for owners looking to extract more power out of their Mk8 Golf R's 2.0 TSI engine, as airflow and cooling are paramount for turbocharged vehicles.
