BMW 340i F30 Parts, Modifications & Accessories
The BMW 340i (F30/F31/F34) arrived with the 2015 LCI facelift, replacing the 335i with the first-generation B58: a 2,998cc straight-six with a single twin-scroll turbo and an intercooler integrated into the intake manifold. It produces 326 PS (322 bhp) and 450 Nm, and was offered as a Saloon, Touring and Gran Turismo in rear-wheel drive or xDrive, mostly with the eight-speed ZF automatic. Its closed-deck block and strong internals make it an excellent base for tuning.
Software is the headline modification, and the B58 responds strongly to it. For higher-stage maps, a sports-cat downpipe, Precision Raceworks parts and a larger CSF heat exchanger help keep intake temperatures consistent on repeated pulls. On the first-generation B58, the plastic charge pipe and high-pressure fuel pump are the usual limits as boost and ethanol content rise, so plan supporting parts before chasing numbers. GSC Power Division valvetrain parts suit serious builds.
The 340i is quick enough to show up a tired chassis. KW coilovers or MMX springs, with Powerflex and HARDRACE bushes, sharpen turn-in, while Pagid and EBC brake pads, discs and Bimecc big brake kits restore stopping power under hard use. MHC PLUS and MOMO steering wheels, paddle shifters and Tillett seats finish the interior, alongside Genuine BMW and M Performance parts.
