Every BMW has a chassis code: a letter for the generation and a number for the model. Parts are usually made for one chassis, so knowing yours is the quickest way to find what fits.

I had a new steering wheel fitted to my f30 BMW on 7/9/2026,the work was completed very quickly and efficiently,my new wheel is slightly thinner than the BMW original which is fine,it's a mixture of carbon fibre,top and bottom and leather on the rest,the leather has BMW Motorsport stitching which looks great and the quality is excellent,I was very impressed with R44 Performance and won't hesitate to use them again for things that I need for my car.

I had an issue with a product and didn’t even think to come back to R44. I contacted the manufacturer directly as I thought it would be quicker. In the meantime, I ordered a replacement from R44 so I could get back on the road.
I then emailed R44 to see if there was any way to speed up delivery as I really needed the item. Leya got back to me and was incredibly helpful. She contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and had the issue resolved within a day.
Because of how supportive and helpful Leya was, rather than giving the usual “it’s your fault” response like some companies, I had a great customer experience from start to finish.
I’ve used R44 for a while now and will continue to do so. I’ll also be recommending them to even more people because of the service I received from Leya.

Which BMW models do you cover?
We cover current and previous BMW generations across the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Series, the M2, M3, M4, M5, M8 and XM, the X Series and the Z Series. That includes the latest G-series cars up to the 2027 model year, such as the G87 M2, G80 M3, G82 M4 and G90 M5.
What do the G, F and E chassis codes mean?
BMW gives each generation a chassis code. G codes are the current generation (for example the G80 M3), F codes are the previous generation (for example the F80 M3) and E codes are older models. Parts usually fit one chassis code, so it's the best way to shop. If you don't know yours, our team can help.
