Building upon the success of the W205 C63 AMG Heat Exchanger, which rapidly became a market leader, CSF has expanded its expertise to develop a comprehensive cooling solution tailored for Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles. This product exemplifies CSF’s mastery in charge-air cooling systems, delivering superior performance through advanced engineering and premium materials.
The AMG V8 engine utilizes a sophisticated charge-air cooler system that incorporates a water circuit circulating via a pump through the charge coolers, complemented by a heat exchanger that effectively dissipates heat from the compressed air. CSF’s High-Performance Heat Exchanger is a substantial upgrade over the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) plastic and aluminum unit, featuring a larger core that significantly enhances water cooling efficiency. This improvement directly contributes to reduced Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), facilitating the intake of cooler, denser air which translates into increased engine power and a marked reduction in heat soak.
