The ARP connecting rod bolt set for the BMW M50 replaces the factory connecting rod bolts with high-strength ARP studs/bolts that clamp the connecting rod caps. Designed for BMW’s M50-family 24-valve straight-six, this is a critical upgrade a hugely popular base for turbo and supercharger conversions, where cylinder pressures climb well beyond standard. Standard torque-to-yield fasteners stretch permanently and lose clamping load over time — ARP hardware restores and increases that clamping force, helping prevent head gasket failure, cap walk and fastener fatigue.
