Petrolheadonism Underground 2024 featured some seriously amazing cars and even better people. This was our second time at the event, displaying some of our heavily-modified BMWs and getting a chance to meet so many customers in the flesh.

Our Top 3 Favourite Cars
There were so many incredible, rare and stunning vehicles on display - it was hard to narrow it down to just three. For fairness, we didn't include any of our own cars in our top three - that would just be cheating.
1. V8-swapped BMW F22 M235i - 1270 bhp
This is an unusual build but thank god it exists! Swapping an LS-X V8 into a BMW 2 Series is something you'd expect to see over in the USA but not here in the UK. Having such a big brutal engine in a small 2-door BMW chassis is a recipe for an absolute monster. However, this wasn't quite enough for the owner who added, not one but, two precision turbochargers pushing out an insane 1270 bhp. All this power is transferred to the road through a sequential gearbox with striaght-cut gears.
From a distance in the dark multistory, the paintwork like a dull, flat black in need of a polish. But as you walk closer, you notice all the exposed carbon fibre bodywork which not only looks amazing but also sheds off a few hundred kilograms in the process.
What an awesome car!
2. Modified BMW G87 M2
Okay, we are being a little bit biased here, having picked a car with some of our own modifications. However, this M2 is one of the coolest G87s we've seen to date. With an MHC LDN Edition 1 carbon kit, BBS wheels and a full carbon rear wing with an integrated LED light bar, this G87 really stood out and was definitely a highlight for many.
3. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
Ever since Richard Hammond drove this masterpiece on Top Gear back in the day, it became a dream car for many. Its feature in the Need for Speed movie, albeit being a fake...
The car on display at Petrolheadonism Underground, however, was certainly the real deal. It just looks like a fighter jet with its full carbon body, stripped out interior and enormous rear wing. Although the car isn't road legal, the value is estimated to be in the region of £2-3 million pounds!
Our Booth
Over at the R44 Performance stand you would have seen our single-turbo BMW G81 M3 Touring as well as our 1000 bhp BMW G80 M3 xDrive. These cars were our two biggest projects of 2023 and it was great to meet so many people who had followed the builds over on YouTube and social media.
Interestingly, the majority of people crowded round the Touring despite its lower power figures and drag-racing credentials. It's nice to see the community isn't all about the numbers...
1000 bhp BMW G80 M3
Here is our Stage 2+ Pure Turbos BMW G80 M3 xDrive with every performance upgrade under the sun. Key modifications include Pure hybrid Stage 2+ turbochargers, built engine & gearbox, full CSF cooling package, single midpipe & sports cat downpipes, software by Tom Wrigley Performance & Mike Ball, MHC LDN carbon fibre accessories & much more.

Single-turbo BMW G81 M3 Touring
This M3 Touring has driven across North America, Europe & is now back in the UK for show season. With the R44 x TWP single turbo kit, this car drew a lot of attention, especially with the air lift suspension, Narwahl Blue wrap and carbon fibre upgrades.

BOXO Tools
We've been using BOXO tools for a long time now. Our workshop is fully kitted out with BOXO goodness and we couldn't have built some of the crazy projects you've seen without the use of their amazing products. We have BOXO's 72-inch 19 drawer triple bank roll cabinet as well as various hand tool sets like sockets, spanners etc. All amazing-quality & UK-made!
Our Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.1) was on display at the BOXO booth, sitting on its new Titan 7 T-S7 forged alloy wheels in Cyber Gold.
EBC Brakes
We run EBC brakes on all our cars - they've probably kept us out of many bushes and walls along the way. Our high-mileage F80 M3 track car was on display showcasing their new F80/F82 6-piston Apollo big brake kit.
This kit has just been released and it offers incredible value & performance in comparison to many competitors' big brake kits on the market. We filmed a full YouTube video talking about the product + the install.
Alongside our F80 M3 was our club-sport spec BMW F87 M2 Competition running EBC's 2-piece floating brake discs and Bluestuff pads.
Overall, the show had a fantastic turnout - a true demonstration that the UK's car scene is still thriving despite the current war on motorists. Ciro really outdid himself and we're very keen to see how he will take the event to the next level in 2025!
