The MMX Individual Tapered Seat Wheel Bolt is a single M14 x 1.25 bolt with a 60° tapered seat, available in 38mm and 41mm shank lengths. It is sold individually, which makes it the straightforward answer to a lost bolt, a stripped thread, or a spacer installation that needs one or two extra fixings to make up a set.
Choosing The Right Length
Bolt length is dictated by wheel and spacer thickness rather than by model. As a rule of thumb, a bolt should engage the hub by at least the diameter of its own thread. The 38mm bolt suits most aftermarket wheels fitted without a spacer, while the 41mm length covers thicker wheel faces and thin spacers. Where a thicker spacer is fitted, MMX supplies longer bolts within its spacer kits.
Correct Seat Profile Matters
A tapered, or conical, seat bolt must be matched to a wheel with a tapered bolt seat. Fitting a tapered bolt into a ball seat wheel, or the reverse, leaves the wheel located on a fraction of its intended contact area and can allow it to work loose. The seat profile of the existing bolts should always be checked before ordering.

Is this a ball seat bolt?
No. This is a tapered, 60 degree conical seat bolt. The seat profile of the wheel must match.
