The MMX BMW E Series Hubcentric Wheel Spacers widen the track on M12 x 1.5, 5x120 E Series BMWs, giving the more aggressive stance the chassis was always styled for and improving cornering stability at the same time. Available in 12mm, 15mm and 18mm, each pair is supplied with the ten longer bolts required to fit them.
Correct Fitment For The E Series Hub
E Series BMWs use an M12 x 1.5 bolt and a 5x120 pattern, with a hub diameter that differs from later F and G cars. These spacers are machined specifically to that standard, with a hubcentric lip that locates on the E Series hub and a matching bore for the wheel. That precise fit is what keeps the wheel running true.
Stance And Stability Together
Pushing the wheel outboard fills the arch and gives the car a planted, purposeful look, but the mechanical benefit is real too. A wider track reduces lateral weight transfer for a given cornering force, which improves grip balance and makes the car feel more settled mid-corner.
Which Width To Choose
12mm suits a car keeping its original wheels and a standard ride height. 15mm is the popular middle setting on E9X and E8X cars. 18mm gives the strongest visual result and is best checked against tyre width, arch condition and how far the car has been lowered.
