The MMX B58 O-Ring Service Kit is the genuine replacement seal set for the MMX B58 lifetime oil filter and billet oil filter housing. It contains the four O-rings that seal the assembly, and is the consumable that keeps a reusable filter system sealing exactly as designed.
Why The O-Rings Should Be Replaced Regularly
The MMX lifetime filter and housing are built to be cleaned and refitted indefinitely, but the O-rings that seal them are a wearing part like any other. Heat cycling and repeated compression gradually take the elasticity out of them. Replacing the set at each service, or at least at alternate services, keeps the sealing integrity the system was designed around and removes any risk of a weep from a tired seal.
A Direct Swap
The kit supplies a direct replacement for the original O-ring set, in the same sizes and material. Swapping them is a straightforward part of a normal filter clean, with no special tools required.

No. The kit contains the four O-rings only. The MMX lifetime filter and billet housing are sold separately.
How often should the O-rings be changed?
MMX recommends replacing them regularly when changing or cleaning the filter, to maintain the sealing properties the system was designed to provide.
