CSF has once again collaborated with Pacific German, a premier Southern California VAG specialist based in Orange County, CA, to meticulously design, develop, and rigorously test the new intercooler kit tailored specifically for the Lamborghini Urus. This partnership underscores CSF’s commitment to delivering high-quality, performance-driven components that meet the stringent demands of modern high-performance vehicles.

The CSF Lamborghini Urus / Audi RS Q8 Twin Intercooler Set is engineered to be a direct replacement for the OEM intercoolers, ensuring a seamless integration with the existing vehicle architecture. By utilizing all factory mounting points, the installation process is simplified to a true "drop-in fit" design, eliminating the need for any cutting, modifications, or additional aftermarket shrouds and hoses. This approach guarantees that all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components can be reused and reinstalled without compromise, maintaining the vehicle’s integrity and factory standards.

A significant advancement in this intercooler set is the integration of the charge pipe into the top end tank design. CSF replaces the factory bolt-on plastic pipe with a robust aluminum welded pipe, sealed securely with an inner O-Ring. This design addresses a known issue identified by Pacific German’s head technician, who noted that OEM O-Rings have been prone to failure, resulting in boost leaks and triggering check engine lights even on relatively new vehicles. By resolving this weak point, the CSF intercoolers enhance reliability and operational confidence.

The intercooler cores themselves are custom-built by PWR and specified by CSF to deliver superior cooling performance. Featuring two rows of rolled cooling tubes with inner fins, these cores surpass traditional Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin designs in efficiency. This advanced core design effectively eliminates heat soak and significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IAT), ensuring maximum performance is sustained during prolonged periods of demanding driving conditions. This is particularly beneficial for vehicles that have undergone power modifications or tuning, where thermal management is critical to maintaining engine performance and durability.
