Product Details

While the original Urus/RS Q8/Cayenne Turbo intercooler kit could be adapted for the SQ7/SQ8, it required modifications and did not offer a true drop-in fit. The Canadian tuning specialist Unitronic, with its extensive SQ7/SQ8 customer base, emphasized the necessity for a dedicated intercooler solution. Their tuning suite elevates the SUVs’ power output up to 765 bhp and 764 lb-ft of torque, highlighting the importance of an efficient intercooling system to support these gains.

The intercooler design draws from the proven CSF #8211/8211R architecture, developed in partnership with Southern California’s leading VAG specialists, Pacific German. Manufactured in the USA at PWR North America’s Indianapolis facility, these CNC billet end tank intercoolers incorporate Formula 1 cooling technology, delivering superior heat dissipation and durability. The partnership between CSF and PWR ensures that the SQ7/SQ8 intercoolers meet the highest standards of engineering excellence and quality control.

Design & Engineering

The intercoolers are precisely engineered for a direct OEM replacement, utilizing all original mounting points to facilitate a seamless installation. The design philosophy centers on a true "drop-in fit," eliminating the need for cutting, modifications, or aftermarket components such as shrouds or hoses. This approach guarantees that all OEM parts remain compatible and reusable, preserving the vehicle’s factory integrity.

Two finish options are available: a raw billet aluminum finish and a Thermal Black Heat Dispersion Cerakote. The Thermal Black coating enhances cooling efficiency by dissipating heat approximately 15% faster than the raw billet finish, offering an additional performance advantage in thermally demanding environments.

OEM VS CSF by PWR

CSF has innovated beyond the OEM design by integrating the charge pipe directly into the top end tank using a welded aluminum pipe, replacing the factory bolt-on plastic component. This assembly is sealed with an inner O-ring, addressing a known OEM failure point where O-ring degradation can cause boost leaks and trigger check engine lights. This robust design ensures improved reliability and longevity under high boost conditions.
