The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 is a compact, high-performance digital display designed for the BMW E46 3 Series (1998–2006). Suitable for both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles, this versatile 2.8" screen provides real-time access to critical vehicle data, all within a sleek and OEM-like installation.

Featuring a 2.8" TFT capacitive touchscreen housed in a precision-milled aluminium front frame, the MFD28 combines premium looks with robust build quality. Its symmetrical design allows for 90° rotation, enabling both portrait and landscape mounting to suit your setup.

With DSS (Display Setup Software), you can customise up to 10 pages, each displaying as many as 64 widgets, ensuring total control of how your information is presented. Supporting up to 128 sensors via CAN Bus and internal data, plus 4 additional analogue 0–5V inputs, the MFD28 allows you to integrate sensors such as oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost, and exhaust gas temperature.

Advanced features like CAN Bus Switching, support for protocols including UDS, KWP2000, OBD and TP2.0, and an optional external shift light make the MFD28 ideal for both road and performance use. A built-in CAN Bus Logger further enhances its capability by allowing detailed data logging and analysis, essential for diagnostics or reverse-engineering CAN protocols.

Compact dimensions (70.3 x 52mm) and front-side Torx mounting ensure straightforward, secure installation with a clean, factory-like fitment inside your BMW E46 interior.
