Product Details
The ARP connecting rod bolt set for the BMW S65 replaces the factory connecting rod bolts with high-strength ARP studs/bolts that clamp the connecting rod caps. Designed for the S65, the high-revving V8 of the E90/E92/E93 M3, this is a critical upgrade where sustained high-RPM operation and hard track use demand the maximum possible clamping integrity. Standard torque-to-yield fasteners stretch permanently and lose clamping load over time — ARP hardware restores and increases that clamping force, helping prevent head gasket failure, cap walk and fastener fatigue.
Available options for this engine:
- Custom Age 625+ — a 280,000 psi super-alloy with outstanding fatigue life, the recommended choice for stroker, supercharged and turbocharged builds
- ARP2000 — a 220,000 psi alloy steel, the proven choice for performance builds and quality rebuilds
Supplied with ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant. For best results ARP recommends installing to a measured bolt stretch where possible, ensuring accurate and repeatable preload.
