BMW F90 M5 Parts, Modifications & Accessories
The BMW F90 M5 is the sixth-generation M5 saloon, built from 2018 to 2024 around the S63B44T4 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8. Standard cars make 600 PS and 750 Nm, the Competition 625 PS and the limited CS 635 PS, all through an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox and rear-biased M xDrive all-wheel drive with a selectable 2WD mode. Strong drivetrain hardware and traction make it one of the most capable platforms for a fast, usable four-door.
Sound and character come first for many owners. A valved F90 M5 exhaust from Akrapovic, Milltek Sport or Remus, or a midpipe upgrade, gives the V8 more voice while keeping the factory valve control for quieter cruising. Eventuri carbon intakes add induction sound and look the part under the bonnet, and the S63 responds well to software, although DMEs built from mid-2020 typically need a bench unlock before tuning.
At close to two tonnes, the M5 rewards attention to brakes and fluid. EBC pads and discs, braided lines and a high-temperature fluid are the usual route for track days, as owners commonly report rear pad wear and fade on long sessions. KW height-adjustable springs lower the car while keeping the adaptive dampers working, and MHC PLUS carbon styling, SHFT paddle shifters and MMX interior trim complete the look.
