BMW G87 M2 Parts, Modifications & Accessories
The BMW G87 M2 launched in 2023 as a compact, rear-wheel-drive coupé powered by the same S58 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six as the M3 and M4. It launched with 460 PS and 550 Nm, rising to 480 PS from 2024 production, with automatic cars gaining 600 Nm. Owners can choose a six-speed manual or eight-speed M Steptronic, and the auto-only M2 CS delivers 530 PS and 650 Nm. With an Active M Differential and a short wheelbase, it is one of the most engaging cars in the modern M range.
Sound is where most M2 builds begin, and Scorpion Exhausts is a leading choice: its valved systems for the G87 add the depth and volume many owners feel the factory exhaust lacks, while keeping it civil on the motorway. An Eventuri intake adds induction sound and sharper throttle response, and complements later tuning on the S58.
The M2 is noticeably heavier than its predecessor, so brake upgrades from Pagid and EBC Brakes are worthwhile for track use. KW and MMX supply suspension, from springs that keep the adaptive dampers to adjustable coilovers. Carbon aero from MHC PLUS, Maxton Design and SooQoo, GSC Power Division engine parts and SHFT interior upgrades complete the range. Manual owners planning a larger tune should factor in the clutch.
