Bimmer INVASION never fails to disappoint! We just returned from attending the 2025 INVASION of West Palm Beach and wanted to share our favorite modified BMWs from the show. Interestingly, all our picks are G Series vehicles, which we think is a testament to how strong the aftermarket BMW scene has been over the last several years.
For those not familiar, Bimmer INVASION is a huge event catering to all BMW enthusiasts with a focus on bringing the community together. The show includes festivities such as the burnout competition, drifting, judged car show and much more.
We attended to showcase our 1500bhp G87 M2 xDrive drag/show build, meet up with some of our amazing partners and just have a good time. We were also invited to a Hagerty event, plus we had some MHC LDN dealer training sessions to deliver.
At the show itself, we were blown away by how many cars were running parts supplied by us. Here are some highlights from the show:
G99 M5 Touring in Vegas Red
This beautiful example of a G99 M5 Touring actually belongs to one of the Co-Founders of Bimmer INVASION, Miguel. He only recently took delivery and went to town on this car. The reason we included this on our list is that this is the most modified wagon variant of the new M5 we’ve seen so far - and what a beautiful color.
Modifications:
- SP90 carbon front lip by MHC LDN
- Carbon side skirts & diffuser by SOOQOO
- MV Forged HS01 3-piece wheels
- AST lowering springs
- Eventuri carbon intake system
- iND Distribution accessories
- Track-pack PPF protection
G87 M2 In Satin Black
This aggressive-looking G87 M2 belongs to a gentleman named Gabe who runs an automotive content and marketing company. It’s safe to say he knows how to modify a BMW. What we particularly like about this car is that the murdered-out black look is contrasted with a set of bright silver wheels to keep things classy.
Modifications:
- Full satin black wrap
- Seibon carbon fiber hood
- Edition 1 carbon kit by MHC LDN
- Carbon front grilles by SOOQOO
- Vossen GEN-03 3-piece wheels
- KW V3 Coilovers
- FI exhaust system
G87 M2 OEM+ Build
KJ from Vossen Wheels proving the OEM+ look is still king. All you need is some nice wheels, a bit of carbon, and a lower ride height. Perfection.
Modifications:
-
Edition 1 carbon kit by MHC LDN
- Vossen GEN-02 3-piece wheels
- iND painted reflectors
G80 M3 in Imola Red
What an awesome color choice. We love Imola Red - introduced in 1998, this color was available on some final edition E36 M3s, the E46 M3, E39 M5 etc. It’s so cool to see it make an appearance 20 years later on a G80 M3.
Modifications:
- BBS E88 wheels
- Carbon front lip by Unit17
- GTS-V Series carbon hood by Vorsteiner
- Carbon front ducts & grille
- Carbon rear spoiler & diffuser
- Custom exhaust
G90 M5 in Frozen Deep Grey
This very imposing M5 is owned by a lovely guy from New Jersey who reminded us just how good the new M5 looks in satin/frozen. We’ve seen a few wrapped with this finish, but there's nothing like the real thing! This example has some awesome carbon upgrades and one of the first aftermarket exhausts available for the G9X platform.
Modifications:
- SP90 carbon front lip & side skirts by MHC LDN
- Carbon diffuser by SOOQOO
- GT Haus Meisterschaft exhaust system
- Lowering springs by Cobra
- HRE 313 GT wheels
- CarbonBay carbon engine & ECU covers
- Goldenwrench Supply Co billet engine cap set
Honourable Mentions
Adro Inc G87 M2 Facelifts Builds
Automotive styling manufacturer Adro, a company that made its name with its G80/G82 front-end facelift, has now given similar treatment to the G87 M2. Adro’s design merges in some aspects of the F87’s front bumper, and we think they’ve done a really good job.
Do you think this looks better than the OEM G87 front end?
Of course, we couldn’t not touch on our own car. Coming straight from the drag strip at Texas 2K25 (setting the world’s fastest M2 quarter-mile time), we took our G87 down to West Palm Beach to attend the show and spend some time driving around Florida.
Here are some cool photos from the trip:
