BMW's F10 M5 doesn't seem to get much love nowadays, and we're not 100% sure why. It had big shoes to fill, following its V10 bigger brother. The F90 got more love thanks to its xDrive system, but it owes its existence to the good old F10.

We love an F10 M5 at R44 Performance. They're comfortable, highly tuneable & send all their power to the rear wheels for those who still value that nowadays.
This modified example is owned by Ravi, the founder & director of CSF Radiators. Ravi is very experienced when it comes to building cars, and his eye for detail really comes through when you look around his M5.
Exterior Spec
At first glance, Ravi’s M5 looks like any clean, OEM+ example - but when you look closer, you start to notice details that really set his car apart
Individual Imola Red Paintwork

First things first, Ravi's F10 is finished in Individual Imola Red - a rare colour to see on an M5. It's rare, deep and suits the F10's muscular lines perfectly.
PSM Dynamic Full Carbon Aero Kit (Installed by LTMW)

A super clean carbon kit that gives the car a lower, wider and more muscular look. Should MHC LDN develop a kit for this car?
Agency Power Carbon Fibre Vented Hood

This piece really sets off the look of the car. Being paint-matched in Imola Red, the hood stays subtle. A full exposed carbon hood may just be a bit too much for the F10 - leaving just the vents exposed is the perfect balance.
iND Distribution Black‑Out Kit

Gloss black trim, roundel delete, and reflector delete for a cleaner, more modern look. Gloss black trims are standard for all the latest M cars, so this mod brings the F10 right up to date.
Rhino Customs Full PPF, Ceramic Pro, and Black Roof Wrap
Protection, gloss, and a sharper silhouette. Ravi has owned the car for many years and will continue to rack up the miles. This ensures the paintwork stays fresh for many miles to come.
GoldenWrench Supply Co Billet Engine Bay Cap Covers

Small details matter. These GoldenWrench anodised silver engine bay caps are a pure demonstration of Ravi's attention to detail.
Interior Spec

Inside, the car blends OEM luxury with performance-inspired upgrades.
Full Black Marino Leather Interior
Paired with the factory Competition and Executive packages.
M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel

Shift lights, data display, and a more connected driving feel.
3D Design Billet Extended Paddle Shifters
Gloss black with red accents - painted by iND for a perfect finish.
Radenso RC M 360° Radar & Laser System
A discreet, high‑end system for long‑distance protection.
Engine & Drivetrain
At the core of this build is BMW’s 4.4‑litre twin‑turbo S63, but the supporting hardware is what transforms it. Power is easy - consistency and reliability are the real challenge. And that’s where CSF’s cooling catalogue comes into its own. Not only does CSF keep temperatures consistently cool, the materials are also far superior to OEM, ensuring long-term reliability.
CSF x Pure Turbos Liquid‑to‑Air Charge Coolers (CSF #8109)

Finished in a custom Fire Engine Red with a hammer‑texture clear coat, these charge coolers are the signature piece of the engine bay. They’re designed to keep intake temps stable during repeated high‑load pulls - essential for half‑mile racing and high‑boost environments.
CSF F1X M5/M6 Engine Oil Cooler (CSF #8317)
A major reliability upgrade that keeps oil temps under control when the S63 is pushed far beyond factory output. The aliminium construction is also far more durable meaning all of Ravi's oil is less likely to end up in a pool on the floor.
Eventuri Full Black Carbon Intake System

Hands-down, the most effective intake on the market for the F10 M5. This setup features Eventuri's patented Venturi housings which smoothen & accelerate airflow - a game changer for any turbocharged engine. CFD tested and dyno tested, the Eventuri intake system delivers actual power gains as well as some incredible sounds.
Evolve Automotive Catless Downpipes (Titanium Ceramic Coated)
Reduced backpressure and faster turbo spool, paired with thermal control to keep the bay cool. They also unleash the savage V8 sound like no other exhaust modification.
FI Exhaust Valvetronic Cat‑Back w/ Black Diamond Tips

A system with switchable valves is a must for any daily driver running catless downpipes. This FI system gives Ravi the best of both worlds.
VF Engineering HEX Stage‑2 Tune – 628whp / 617tq
With cooling and airflow dialled in, the tune delivers a smooth, reliable and repeatable 600+whp without heat‑soak. The twin-turbocharged S63 responds very well to remapping and VF are very experienced tuners in the scene.
Suspension & Brakes
Putting down 600+whp in a rear wheel drive chassis and slowing down over 4,000 lbs requires high-quality suspension & brake modifications.
KW Suspension HAS Kit
A height‑adjustable solution that sharpens the stance and improves composure without sacrificing daily usability. The F10 isn't an all-out sports car, meaning coilovers usually aren't appropriate. Ravi, was just after a bit of stance, a lower centre of gravity and better feedback- all whilst retaining all the things that make an M5 one of the best daily drivers on the market.
OEM Carbon Ceramic Brakes

Fade‑free stopping power and consistent pedal feel - essential for a car that weighs over 4,000 lbs and can quite easily achieve triple‑digit speeds.
Wheels & Tyres

The stance is aggressive, functional, and perfectly matched to the F10’s proportions.
6Sixty Design Monoblock Wheels
• Front: 21×9.5 +20
• Rear: 21×11 +25
Lightweight, strong, and visually spot‑on.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tyres
• Front: 265/30/21
• Rear: 305/25/21
A proven ultra‑performance tyre that handles the torque without too much drama.
Project Kics Iconix R40 Lug Nuts
Lightweight, motorsport‑inspired hardware with black and gold detailing.
The Result

Ravi’s F10 M5 is more than a modified BMW - it's one of the cleanest, most thought-out builds we've seen in this generation of car.
Every component has been chosen with intent. Every upgrade solves a problem. Every detail reflects the philosophy of someone who understands the S63 platform better than almost anyone else.
This is what happens when the owner of CSF Radiators builds an M5 for himself - a car that runs hard, stays cool, and looks incredible doing it.
