The MMX Rear Toe & Traction Arm Bearing Pair replaces the factory rubber bush in the rear toe and traction arm of the BMW G8X and F8X M2, M3 and M4 with a machined 6061-T6 aluminium pillow bush. It removes the deflection that allows rear toe to move under load, which is what makes a powerful rear-drive chassis feel unsettled on corner exit.

Where Rear Toe Movement Comes From

The traction arm takes the longitudinal load of acceleration and braking, and its rubber bush deflects under both. On a car making S55 or S58 power that deflection is significant, and it changes rear toe exactly when the driver is asking the rear axle for grip. The sensation is a rear end that moves around under power in a way that does not correlate with throttle input.

Consistent Geometry Under Power

Fitting a machined pillow bush removes the compliance and holds the toe setting regardless of load. Corner exit becomes predictable, the throttle can be opened earlier with confidence, and rear tyre wear evens out because the contact patch is no longer being dragged through a changing angle.
