The MMX BMW G Series Magnetic Gear Shift Paddles are billet aluminium replacement paddles with a magnetic actuation mechanism, designed for BMW G Series models fitted with the Gen 3 M Performance steering wheel, including LCI cars. They replace the factory paddles outright and are supplied with the fitting kit required to install them.
What A Magnetic Paddle Changes
A standard paddle uses a rubber dome switch, which gives a soft, slightly vague press. The MMX paddle instead uses opposing magnets to build resistance and then release with a defined click, closer to the feel of a motorsport shifter. The travel is shorter, the feedback is sharper, and the action stays consistent regardless of cabin temperature.
Built For The Gen 3 M Performance Wheel
These paddles are dimensioned for the third-generation M Performance steering wheel used across the G Series range, including LCI facelift cars. They mount to the original fixings, retain the factory electrical contacts, and can be removed again without a trace, making them suitable for leased and PCP vehicles.
