The MMX Performance Oil Change Service Kit brings together three of the most important lifetime upgrades for BMW’s B58 petrol and B57 diesel engines: the MMX stainless steel lifetime oil filter, a billet aluminium oil filter housing, and a magnetic sump plug. Together, these components address well-known weak points in the factory setup while delivering long-term reliability, performance, and protection.

At the heart of the kit is the MMX stainless steel lifetime oil filter, which eliminates the notorious paper filter disintegration issue common on B58 engines. Constructed from medical-grade micronic cloth, it filters contaminants down to 20 microns while offering over five times the flow of a paper filter. Fully reusable and cleanable, it’s designed to last the life of your car.

Complementing the filter is the MMX billet oil filter housing, CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium and finished in gloss black anodising. Unlike the fragile factory plastic housing, this unit is built to resist cracking and oil leaks. It also integrates a pressure control oil bypass, removing the need to transfer the OE plastic valve.

Completing the kit is the MMX magnetic sump plug, a simple yet highly effective upgrade that captures ferrous particles suspended in the oil before they can circulate through the engine. This reduces long-term wear and extends engine life.
