The Active Autowerke equal-length Mid Pipe was specifically designed to eliminate the highly restrictive nature of the S55's factory exhaust system – thus creating optimal exhaust flow and drastically improving performance. Engineered for an exact fit on the BMW F80 M3 and F82 M4, the difference in power and throttle response with this mid-pipe will be noticeable the moment it is installed! The equal-length layout reduces the S55 engine's raspy stock exhaust and creates a really nice and aggressive sound.
Here at R44 Performance, we run this midpipe on our stage 2 BMW F80 M3 track car and the whole team were blown away by how amazing the car sounded. This component was also essential for extracting more power from the S55 due to the dramatically increased exhaust flow.
