An Awesome Day at Players Show Goodwood
This year’s Players Show at Goodwood gave us a great opportunity to bring two of our key BMW builds to the public: our G81 M3 Touring and F80 M3 track car. With new modifications fitted to both ahead of the event, we were able to display one and push the other hard on track, showing two sides of what we do here at R44 Performance.

Our BMW G81 M3 Touring debuts with LCI CS Headlights
The legends at Pipercross had our M3 Touring on display with their new matte carbon fibre intake system. We installed this intake on the channel a couple of weeks ago. Be sure to check it out!
The Pipercross intake looks premium, gives the car some amazing intake sound and is great value for a carbon intake.

Alongside this mod, we installed Genuine BMW OEM CS LCI headlights on the car. We’ve done a few of these conversions now, and they look beautiful. Other than the yellow daytime running lights, our favourite feature on the CS versions is the black backing, which looks both stealthy and aggressive compared to the standard facelift headlights. They do require some coding as part of the install, but this is something we can assist you with.

Check out the OEM LCI CS headlights here.
Our BMW F80 M3 Track Car: Fresh Setup for Goodwood Circuit

For the F80 M3, we focused on setup improvements ahead of the track sessions at Goodwood. We fitted a new set of Titan7 TP5 forged wheels, OnTrack TPMS sensors, and Nankang AR-1 semi-slicks. This combination gave the car a solid step up in feedback and consistency throughout the day.
Other than looking incredible, the forged wheels provide a noticeable reduction in unsprung weight compared to OEM wheels. We’ve run various sets of Titan7 wheels on the F80, and we’re never going back! The AR-1s were the perfect tyre for the event, with a good balance of grip between the mix of wet and dry weather, and having live pressure/temp data via the OnTrack app made monitoring tyre behaviour between sessions much easier.
Event Takeaways
Players Goodwood is always a great event - we make an effort to attend every year thanks to its mix of static and dynamic displays. You’ve got show cars as well as drift demos on the racetrack + you can take your own car out for some laps. The perfect day on one of the UK’s most iconic automotive venues.
We met a good mix of brand partners and customers throughout the day. It's events like these that help us get a feel for what people are genuinely interested in, outside of social media trends.
What’s Next?
This weekend, we are attending Ultrace over in Poland, which is always a great time. The M3 Touring is already on its way over there, so be sure to come and chat to us if you’re at the event. Until then, keep an eye on our socials and YouTube channel for plenty of builds and BMW content!
